[The frequency comes to life, transferring a video feed broken up by lines of static and snow. A familiar girl with long blond hair and small white wings can be seen sitting on the floor, her back propped up against the wall.

It's Nill. She seems to be out cold... in an area that is dark, dingy and broken. In actuality, a space inside one of the uninhabitable apartment buildings on Latimir Street; hinted by the darkness in the room, and the bits of broken plaster and concrete scattered across the floor.

A few minutes pass, before the girl's eyes flutter open, and she slowly sits up. She appears confused by her surroundings, with her eyes open wide as she looks around the room and seems a bit out of sorts on the whole.

The communicator goes unnoticed until the very last second, when she can be seen standing up with her hands held up close to her chest and looking very anxious. Right before the feed fades to black.]

[[ooc Note: Due to the shock of current events within canon and being bounced back and forth between the two worlds, Nill has temporarily lost all of her memories pertaining to her former stay in Discedo. They will be recovered slowly with time.]]

It feels kind of familiar...

How do you make a puppet?

I tried to make a few sketches of some different ones. People and animals... But when I really thought about it, I don't know how to put one together by myself.

I'll need to find more things before I can start trying to make one anyway. Like some good socks.

I have a strange question, so... you can answer it only if you really want to.

What is Heaven supposed to be like? I only know a little bit about angels, and they're supposed to be from Heaven.

...I don't really know why I look like an angel, either. Is it something that makes people happy?

[BZZZAP! It's that time again. Nill lets out a soft and startled cry as the communicator shocks her, letting it fall onto the ground with a clatter.

The video function clicks on, snowy with static at the start of the transmission before finally clearing. The camera is pointed up, with a few loose blades of grass sticking up into view. The winged girl can be seen giving her hands a light shake with a sniffle, and sighing as she eventually glances back down at the fallen communicator. She is sitting on an old swing set, pushing herself slowly forward and back using her heels, while her hands are holding onto the rusty chains.

Yes, it's still pretty cold and cloudy out, but she has Kanji's jacket for that. It sits loosely over her shoulders while her small wings make it look kind of odd and lumpy in the back. In her face, she looks kind of thoughtful about something, but there's no telling exactly what about...

The recording times out shortly after Nill stands up from the swing, and can be seen walking out of view through some grass.]

[The communicator is dropped with a clatter onto the kitchen tiles below, while the sound of bare, stumbling feet and hitched breaths can be heard a short distance away.]

[It's affecting her, too. Even within the safety of her own apartment, the Darkness hiding in the shadows, the bloody visuals and terrible carnage recorded over the public network, and the sheer amount of people being affected by this madness--unable to be there for her, to save her--has broken her down. She's afraid of everything. Everyone.

The sound of drawer can be heard being pulled open, and the clanking of metal as the different utensils inside are being pushed around, searching. A large kitchen knife is retrieved, letting out a slight tone. Nill swallows hard, and clambers down onto the kitchen floor, as the blade shakes along with her trembling hands.]

[[ooc For Jackie, and anyone else that is curious enough to go investigate: Nill is currently sitting down in a corner of the kitchen with a large kitchen knife in her hands for her own sense of security. As always, proceed with caution.]]

I wanted to say thank you. To everyone.

There were so many people who worried and came to visit me, even though I didn't mean to tell anyone that I was sick. I'm sorry...

But it made me very happy. I'm... not used to being taken care of like this, or getting so many visitors and lots of food. Mostly sweets, but still.

[...] People come and go all the time here, and I think that is something that scares me more than anything. ...But I can still be happy. Because no matter what, I will always remember the friends and family that I made in this city.

[Nill's fingers can be seen obscuring the camera as it is switched on, sitting on its side as she takes her hand away after setting it on a table next to the old, beat-up couch she's sprawled out on.

The fact that the video function was turned on seems to be an accident, but she doesn't look too good regardless. Her face is flushed and she has a folded-up wet rag sitting on her forehead, which she reaches up and pushes back down underneath her bangs once she settles back in. Covered up in a blanket from her feet to just below her shoulders, she sighs and quickly brings her hand up to muffle a small cough. Tired, she closes her eyes and snuggles into the blanket for warmth. She's not going anywhere for awhile.

The recording continues for awhile, and its quiet up until her weak breathing can be heard.]

[[ooc Misery loves company. Reducing stress and getting plenty of sleep helps prevent the flu, folks. ...which have sadly been hard to come by for this little one, lately.]]

Excuse me, but... there's someone in one of the patients' rooms on the third floor. It's not anyone I recognize, and I don't know how long he's been here.

He has pointy, purple-colored hair, and some markings on his back. I think.

If anyone can let me know who he is, then I'll be very grateful.
